Lunchtime

Lunchtime activities at Raynham

Here at Raynham we are very dedicated to ensure all our children have an opportunity to engage in physical activity and encourage healthier lifestyles in a happy and safe environment during their lunch times.

During school council meetings the children on the committee discussed what activities they would like at lunch times and their wishes were put in place.

We offer a wide range of playground and indoor activities during lunchtimes to all our children, which are on rotation so the children don’t get bored of the same activity each day. All children are very welcome to join in all lunchtime activities during lunchtime.

Activities include:

  • athletics
  • football
  • skipping
  • hula hoop
  • tennis
  • 1 touch football
  • hockey
  • hopscotch
  • goal
  • parachute
  • building blocks
  • Jenga
  • multi skilled sports games
  • outdoor apparatus and much more

We also have a designated quiet area in the playground for those children who enjoy quiet time with their friends.
